1958 Chevrolet Delray

HeHe I did, now the heat created by the bulbs will not discolour or make the paint peal.

I have used my BBQ in the past to heat up heads and then degrease them with Dollar Store Oven off ;)
Ha..absolutely love this…a true hot rodders mind set…use what you have..and if you don’t have what you need …damn well find something that will work…2 thumbs up on this one…I wonder if the smell from the last thing you cooked on the grill gets imbedded in the paint that you are curing…ha…I smell hamburgers..lol..

Picked up rear quarters from @58Yeoman to salvage some panels off of.

Chopped up the drivers side, very little left for the scrap yard
Will take the winter months to work on fixing the quarter panel before attempting to weld it onto the car.

Will be using these panels to iron out my welding technique. Get the settings right on the welder and hope for little to no blow through as I go along

Picked up a pair of newer DRL/FOG lights and thought they would fit perfectly where there is a dummy lens on the 58.

Put together a circuit to check the lights and now to run this new circuit into the harness.

Cut the template from an old aluminum server shelf that I salvaged years ago.
