What Did You Do Today? (2014)

...wow! You've got all the bells and whistles on that cart....wheels, levelers, height adjustment....

I have had the idea of a "BBQ" type assembly for baking my flatheads. Need to find a way to eliminate the burning oil and grease smell as I live in the middle of town. I like the way the heads and intake came out with the heat and oven cleaner. I had a guy in Creston bake two blocks for me at 375 degrees. Sure made cleaning easy.

the jacks have me confused as all the cross pieces seem to be welded to the uprights...

The wheel stems are bolted to a piece of inverted channel. They are pushed downward through the lower cross piece by the jacks, to lift the table. The lower cross piece is hidden by that channel in the picture because the image is in "wheels down" mode.

It only lifts a bit more than an inch. just enough for safely moving it around the shop. My garage has too many Model A to allow the table to sit in a permanent location.

....does it make burgers and hand you a beer too? Or maybe they were added options you chose to avoid......

Spotted the " last cruise before winter "
'29 5w/coupe in the Bridgewater Dairy Queen parking lot.
I thought it looked good enough to shoot with my headlights.

Threw some extra lights on the yard decor. Looked too lonely and dark back there without them.

The headlights on the sedan turn on with a photocell along with the rest of my yard lights.

Couple weekends ago, I finally had time to go pick up the truckload of early Hemi stuff. One complete 241 Dodge Red Ram, enough parts to build a '56 Chrysler 354, and parts left over. I've purchased a few things from this guy and still has more for me there. A real knowledgeable car guy and a good friend, thanks a lot Barnett!

Ah, just drag anything home and put some lights on it! You must have something around your neck of the woods like that.

No not really .. rust and mother nature pretty well claims everything within a few years here .. and if there were, the owner would say, " I'm going to fix that someday."

Slowly chiseling away at my engine. Would be nice to hear this thing run again. Hope to get to that point by Summer 2015.

Now I just need to read up on setting the valve lash before slapping on the intake.

My cousins Derek & Linda O' vacationing on the Hawaiian Islands spotted this '50 Studebaker Ute ( phantom studeamino ) at a show in Maui.
Looks like Studebaker front sheet metal and rear fenders were grafted onto an '82 el Camino.
Looks well done just the same.
