1935 Ford Project -2Dr Sedan to 3W Coupe

You might try Imgur...I have used it in the past with good success. It has a higher ranking than both Flickr and Photobucket.

Dave,
I concur with cocobolo, other than the bucket imgur is easy to upload to and link to.
I don't use it as I've never had issues with The Bucket.

Was on Photochuckit a couple of days ago Dave, and the site was down for maintenance for almost a whole day. At least at this end of the country. Tried to upload a photo of our grandson with Gordie Howe but couldn't make it work. Haven't tried loading anything this morning.

...thanks for the feedback....getting used to new hosting and I edited the previous post where the pics went to Hell in a basket. New pics using Imgur....

The following metal porn post contains images some viewers may find offensive. Please be advised that this is hard core material and not appropriate for children 18 years and under. Any allusion to sexual activity with a clutch alignment tool is purely coincidental. Viewer discretion is advised.

The re-assembly of the drivetrain starts at the transmission and works itself forward. Problem was that the pilot bearing went missing. No problem for the magic hands of the fabricator...make one! Then insert into the lady parts and make it stay there with the alignment tool...and... wiggle it...and...

That's funny, my pilot bearing adaptor is missing too! I keep hoping it'll turn up in one of these boxes as I unpack and organize the garage, but nothing yet so far... Damn bearing gnomes

Finally got some paint on the cowl while the body is off the chassis. Can't wait for the metal surface work (me) to start after I get it out of the shop and roadworthy.....

Due to the length of the Olds 371, the enclosed driveshaft had to be shortened 7". This whole process is tricky with a torch, but Stony just loves the forge (much more fun). Shortening the outer tube wasn't a problem, but the doing the same for the driveshaft requires heating to expand the coupling thingy, slipping it on the two pieces of the shortened driveshaft. The sleeve has a .006 interference fit, when heated it was possible to expand the sleeve .010 for an easy slip. It was a stressful hustle before it shrunk.....

David.....made a comment about your great car on the BC no fenders post on discussion and chat.

Good work and looking good.

....restless mind ....again. Loosing sleep over a shifter nob -not a store-bought 8-ball, flying eyeball, or a stock one but something different and unusual. I love old aluminum castings with all the cool letters and numbers, so I looked around at old fuel pumps, etc and came up with this.
I took the guts out and the dried up old gas and took a wire wheel to it that brightened up the dull, old casting. It still needs to be drilled and mounted and I'm still uncertain about the blingy gold hose barbs....but here it is.....

Sure like what you've been doing with this build, David, but those barbed hose fittings should go!

Just the safety side of me talkin', but would hate to hear that someone was injured on one of those.

Bgbkwndo.

Thanks to your comment I had to look up this build. I'm building a 35 truck and thought getting all the angles and curves to blend after my chop was hard.
I have nothing to complain about now! Excellent work bgbdlinc

Bgbkwndo: Ya, you're probably right. I just had a flash of the left barb inserted deeply into my right temple....

ratrig: There is nothing like doing a chopped top to make a man out of you -lots of hard thinking, lots of hard looking, undoing, and redoing when you screw up. It's immensely satisfying when it's done.
I'd like to see your chopped truck, if you have any pics or start a build thread?
