The Meme Thread

Those were the days. When a kid, we had milk and ice (no fridge yet) delivered by horse drawn wagon. These were self driving as the horse knew where to go so the milk man could snooze between the stable and the first delivery. When they arrived we'd run out and feed the horse sugar cubes.
When the other kids had paper routes, I had an egg route selling eggs door to door. My older cousin had 6000 chickens on Lulu Island.
Yuppers, remember them well, then there was the coal wagon, then later a sawdust wagon to feed the bemouth called the furnace.

The Auto Wash Bowl in Chicago circa 1920's. Lots of dirt roads back then.
"The nearly 80-foot-wide, ridged concrete bowl was about 16 inches at its deepest point in the center.
Customers paid 25 cents to an attendant who strapped a protective rubber cover over the radiator.
Patrons would then enter the bowl via a ramp and drive their cars around and around the bowl at a speed of about 10 miles per hour.
The ridges in the concrete would vibrate the car and the water, creating a sloshing action that helped wash away all the mud from the chassis and wheels.
The process took about three or four minutes.
The car would then exit the bowl where patrons who wanted a complete car wash could enter one of the bays where the rest of the car would be cleaned.
On a busy Saturday, about 75 cars per hour would go for a spin in the wash bowl."

3x2 setups.
They’ve fallen out of favor, most folks preferring a single large carburetor.
For some reason people like to always say “you’ll make more power with a 750.”
Sure, a modern intake manifold and single carb makes more power, but those who have driven with these setups know why these are so appealing.
6 tiny venturi set up as a triple pumper can be super super fun on the street and still economical to operate, often more so than a single carb.
Let the debate start.
