Points east 2009

Got a question for the cars with air cleaners exposed to the elements, blowers, tunnelled carbs, etc. On rain soaked cruisin' what keeps the rain out of the carb(s) ?

Nothing Bullet... It's called a jewish valve grind! Blows any carbon off the backside of the valve in a real hurry!!!

The pictures make me feel like I am there with you lads. One question..... where's the Ozzie shirt lifter in the pics?

Tin,
the shirtlifter is in a dirty brown drovers hat in one of the pics on the first page. It's the one right after the pic of Frank standing on the pickup tailgate. See the three white beer bellies? he's just east of them!
Thank Christ for small mercies...you can't see John's face. I don't know how Jan can wake up to THAT... EVERY morning

What outstanding pictures, and lots of familiar faces...... Have a great run, be well, raise one for us, and take care of each other....
Clarke

Jack.... there is always 2010 when Frank sets up that run to Victoria again (I'll start that rumor now) and Roachie is up for it once the roof is fixed....

Ah ha, I thought that was he.
He's in a couple other photos as well, still can't see his face.
He bought himself a new hat since last he ventured across the pond. Come on John give us homebound members a big cheesy grin, ya old sot. :)
And don't forget to get Jan in the pic with ya.

...hey derailed Glenn....thanks for the update/progress report...we're relying on a few members for updates here and there and pics of local cars/trucks that joined in the (rainy) fun......

:DNow in the town of Miramichi New Brunswick they gave us a police escort into town and the entire town was there .There were at least 1000 or more people waving and cheering us into town .The was overwhelming at the least to say.:D

Thanks Glenn for the update & photos.
Must have been sad to see them pull out without you.

When the Tour reached Mirimichi I noticed how clean the vehicles looked after travelling for 3 days in the rain. How did ya all find time to do a cleaning, and where ?

Also must be a real eye catcher, crowd drawer, when you all stop to refuel.

Well, I talked with the local natives and they did a Sun Dance.
The rest of the week is going to be beautiful, sunny, low 20's.

Unfortunately the week-end is not looking good for the Nationals.
You'll have to wait to see if that changes.

Enjoy your evening in Charlottetown, it's a beautiful town.
Trip to CBI tomorrow should be clear and sunny. Good cruisin' weather, especially for the driver of the open RPU.

:DBullet;) Thanks for the weather change.Be good to meet you .Here is another one of John-in-oz ,32High ,and me 34Ford

Did Frank give you an ETA when the Tour will be at the A&W Dartmouth Thurs. ?
I don't want to go to the city to early and wait around for hours.
