One of these sold recently for $140,000 USD. I guess when they were available for $25K, that was a good deal then.

I'm quite sure there would be a way to lessen that monstrosity ( although my guess would be that is what they were after ) . As for me that is not in the least impressive . JMHO

Zora Duntov's brilliant engine team created this Corvette GrandSport 377 cu.inc all aluminum dual ignition hemi head engine in 1962
Never made it into production.

Apparently, the engine and transmission is on display in a museum somewhere.
