..Cody , just got my 49 back in the warm shop and took a pic of the end gate finally how I locked it with just a bolt and stainless washers. Have no need to open it ever as it is low enough to throw stuff over and fill the box like I did the first day out and went to the Draggins car Show. Didn't like the idea of chains slapping around or making hidden latches , so just went plain and simple.
