I can't envision any header damage happening there . lol Interesting crossover on the headers . Also giving up some hp as " engine masters " did a show on exhaust and found 18"s (?) past the header was better than open .

Pretty simple rear suspension also. Caltrac bars and single adjustable shocks. One of the header companies back in the day sold headers for Fe’s that had that crossover setup. I guess to keep or try keep them equal length.
