Lunch stop

Here we are in Senora the northern state of Mexico. Just a lunch stop The 12 volt cooler keeps Cervesa nice and cold.

It seems we have limited internet where ever we go so I will post a few pics when I can. We are still in Mexico and heading south of Puerto Valartta. This picture is in Northern Mexico in Dec. with the first of 2 broken shock mounts This is a road side shop with a 110 stick welder. Got it repaired but not pretty

Yea it worked great for 2 years but not here. I put them back to there original location and now have a bouncing wallowing car again. Will sort this out when I gat home Just turned the 5000 mile mark. South of PV right now
 
Thanks for the updates on your adventure, so the distributor problem is pointless :D:D now you have it fixed and you have a spare starter. Looks like you are having a good time anyway so don't sweat the small things.
 
Here are a few more pictures of Plymouth in Mexico. right now we are in a city called Colima it is east in the mountians from manzinllo. This picture is how you buy beer down here

Now this picture need explaining. Along the main High ways there are some motels that have high walls around them and look like castles with just a gate to drive inside. This one is in Los Mochis right where they caught the drug lord El Chape. We got into this city after dark and I stopped at the first motel. Well you drive through the gate and I expect nice gardens pool etc. But there is nothing in here and it looks like a storage place. No office , just a guy says I will show you a room Very strange. There is a garage with a tarp that you pull across to hide your car. Well totally confused the guy says come and look at another room but this on has an electric garage door. Well we are not getting on the road to go any further so as strange as this looks we take the room. and what a room it is like a palace inside. I still don,t get it and it must be for hideing when running drugs. WELL turn on the tv and its Porno time HA! These are sex motels to hide away and are all over Mexico See new stuff every day

Flood

We drove into Mazatlan from the north end or the hotel zone where gringos stay. It had rained for an hour before we got into town but then it really poured. Well there is no drains in the streets. and the hotel zone flooded. I was driving hoping that it would lighten up but the water got deeper. Well as the floor in the Plymouth had 2 inches of water and the engine was stalling AND the clutch was under water so it would just grab , not slip. A guy yells out it,s deeper farther up. There was only one driveway up and out of the water. Holiday Inn. That,s where the car stopped running. We just sat and drank Beer. booked a room Next day Dam more problem.
