Cool! Just wondering, been following a guy on Youtube who put one behind a SBF.
he figured out the computer stuff for it to run stand alone.

Lee: What are the differences between one from a Mustang vs one from a 5.4/5.0 F150 ?

What's the going rate locally? (Alberta)
 
James, I am still doing research on the differences. For one ,it needs to be a 2wd f150 or it will need a tail shaft $$. Lots of 4X4 ones out there. The only 2 wheel drive ones I have seen are high milers, asking around 2K cad. The truck one doesnt have the threaded bosses for a cable shift (although no big deal). I think the clutches are heavier for towing, and I think the shift points are different, which I believe can be changed in the final tune.
As of 2 hrs ago, the guys that sold me the bad unit have found me another mustang one in Quebec for 2K that has been test driven,oil is nice and red,and has verified 43000 km on it. Includes TC,flex plate, and motor plate.

Im not saying I found one yet till it is actually sitting in my shop this time..:)
