Looking for an old '69-'77 Maverick/Comet 8" 5 stud rear end 56.5 hub to hub. Not worth going off the Island for so on VanIsle preferred.
 
Al: If you know what ratio you want, you may have more luck sourcing a Ranger 8.8" diff, and some years were 56.5" wide

Yea, I know about the 90-92 Ranger rears as I sourced one for my '49 PU some yrs ago. I still have the door tag info which tells you the ratio (usually 3.70) & posi or not. 8.8
 
Um doesn't everyone need more than one?? '49 Meteor coupe is on the way to replace the '56 2dr wagon.Ford. Come to think of it, when I bought it was covered in flames & that's how it died!

I have a Ford Maverick 8 inch with 3.55LS gears, unfortunately it's under Black Betty at the moment.....
 
Finally got one tho way up in Princeton. That's almost to Winnipeg for Islanders!
 
When you get home from Princeton one will turn up just down the street.
