I have installed the 4L60E transmission and mount on a modified 53Chevtruck crossmember. I have strengthened it a bit and have used two high grade bolts that go in from the bottom to secure the mount. These are rather long bolts. The mount secures to the trans by its own bolts. I had to oversize the holes in the crossmember to get the bolts up there lined up. Wondering if lock tight and lock washers are enough? cheers....
