Interesting dream project, but you don't really think that 2.2L POS would power anything across the Pacific Ocean.
Chrysler was somewhat involved in a reasonably successful marine endeavor with the Chrysler Crew.
I saw this thing run in Kelowna in the 60's. The sound was incredible. It revved much higher than the Allisons and Merlins. Then there's the Dodge Watercars. But that's Horace Dodge Jr. after his family sold the car business.

I still have the program of the 1966 hydro races on Okanagan lake. Chrysler Crew had two blown 426 Hemis for power and I believe he was the world champ one year with that combo.
