Greetings;1.
I have been working on a 53 Chev Panel since 07. I have the Man. transfer paper and ICBC told me that was sufficient doc. to reg. in B.C. but would
need an inspection of frame and other prior to reg. I need the following advice:
1. I have installed Mustang II and four link from No Limits Eng.. I have also reinforced other areas of frame. Front suspension was McIyvors in Edmonton who have now
gone out of business. Certified welder installed. I have done some of the other welding myself and now nervous on that end.
2. My panel truck will become a suburban as I am installing side windows from a 49 (big job but can be done). I am also thinking about a third door.
I have also changed barn doors to mini doors with lift gate.
My overall question is getting an inspector authority garage to sign off on this as I have heard horror stories getting this done (passing the buck to engineer) in the process which could be big bucks.
Hope this is worthy of response.
cheers
