Claresholm, population 3742, is just over an hours ride south of Calgary.
The five gas stations are in a bit of a price war with 4 of them at 144.9 and one at 139.9 compared to Calgary at 151.9. Neeedless to say, yes, I filled up when leaving Claresholm.
The highway goes right through town.
The Pocupine Hills Classic Car Club hosted the car show in the Centennial Park/Camp ground.
This was their largest show to date with well over 250 cars.
Vendors, Beer gardens, a food & ice cream truck and a live band. A good day for a show on the grass: 27C and sunny.
Good thing there was a bit of wind as shade was at a premium.
Ratrig (Lee) was there too.
This show pulls in rides from all over Southern Alberta.
