Inside of doors

Folks,
I have been working on the doors of my '58.

What is the best way to get as much grease as possible from in between them?
There has to be at least 2lbs of grease caked inside.

I was thinking, remove the doors, one has been completely taken apart. (window frame, glass and vent window)

Use a power washer to remove the grease?
I have been scraping what I can but there is no end to it, and areas I cannot reach..

I want to spray a coat of epoxy primer, before laying down some sound deadener.

Usually I have some kind of comment to make about just about anything here...but on the subject of never ending grease...I got nothing for ya..what ever you do you will have to get it really clean to get the epoxy to stick...

Power washing does sound like a good starting point....there..I did have something to say...ha.

Curious,,, why so much grease inside your doors? Rust proofing? If you want anything to stick you will need to use some sort of degreasing agent in there as well and make sure it's rinsed out well. Sounds messy!

Sounds like rust check to me . I'm not sure why you would want to remove it but if you do it's going to take some doing .

I agree but wanted to point out for those that do not know, Rust Check is a brand name. The generic term is cavity wax.

Thanks folks.
I'll try to scrape out all the loose grease and grime at the bottom, scrape enough off behind where I plan to install a speaker. So I can place a sheet od deadener.
Most likely Rust preventative. Car spent half it's life in Nova Scotia.
This car has a lot of grease/rust check everywhere. If not that , gobs of tar. o_O
