Amazing Engines! I remember seeing some pics of them being assembled, and there is a set of stairs cast into the block @ the centerline of each crank throw so that they can access the main & rod bearings!

So what's the starting procedure? Is it 14 shotgun shells and 14 guys hitting them in firing order. Or can one fit fellow do it running back and forth slapping 'em with his hammer? I want to see this.
