From the BCHRA:

The BC Classic & Custom Car Show held at the Tradex in April has been cancelled.

Richardt Scholz, the promoter of this show, stated that negotiations with the Tradex management group has been very stressful and
nerve-rackin. Financially it was unsustainable to proceed with the show. According to Richardt, it was a difficult decision to make, after 24 years
at the Tradex, it has come to an end.
He also stated that he is having conversations with the people in Chilliwack to have the show there in 2024.
We will keep you informed as things progress.

Venues are getting greeedy and also asking for lots of conditions to be met.
Goodguys have been moving there shows around to different venues, and in some cases, cancelled a show or two, such as the Goodguys Spokane show.

I've been leaning towards the smaller shows. 100-200 is plenty. Way easier to appreciate a few cars/trucks than walking by a 1000.
