Well I finally had the chance to post some pictures of the tour from my persective. I was the passenger in the Black 1965 Beaumont Sport Deluxe Convertible. This is one of the rare times you'll ever see it with the roof up.

The best part of the event has got to be the driving.

The Elvis Cafe was a last minute add on by Kevin (Kevedo) & Sara. Kevin haited on the tables because they were understaffed. It was great

Deuce Days, wow

All good things must come to an end. Let's do it again :)

Thanks Ewald. Seems like yesterday. Can't wait for next year. I'll bring a better selection of bolts & nuts for you.

Deuce Day info needed...

Kan someone straighten me out on the dates of Deuce Day??

I assumed (and we ALL know what happens when you 'ass u me' something) that Duece Day (at least in Victoria) is held every second year. A very knowledgable rodder buddy tells me that Deuce Day is held in Canada every second year because in the in between years its held in California (makes sense to me??), but yet was there NOT a Deuce Day held in C'Wack a while back? My reason for asking is so I can establish a valid reason to be going to Victoria on the this coming Rememberence Day weekend to scope out better accomodations that we had back in 'oh seven'. Is there going to be a 2011 Deuce Day in Victoria???

So, ...do I/we go to Vicky Town 'scoping' or just to visit old rodder friends??

Doug, NW Deuce Day was in Victoria (Oak Bay Village) in 2000, Chilliwack in 2002 and then Victoria in 2004, 2007 and this year (2010).

At the banquet this year, there was no announcement about a next event. It certainly wouldn't be 2011 - maybe 12 or 13 if at all.

The schedule has nothing to do with the southern California event and the northern California event which was held at Stafford Lake Park in Novato hasn't been held for quite a few years after Andy (Brizio) gave it up.

Thanks for the pictures.... brings back some good memories.
I'm up for it.... lets do it again. 2013 is open on my schedule, Donnie has his coupe done, Jamie is always ready, Wayne and "Young" Bill can be convinced, John should have something ready by then, and Phil Prather will guide us all for a ways...... it's all about your friends and the journey.

Thanks for the pictures, some good photos there, how did you manage to get the Deer to pose for that shot :).

Thanks for the pics Ewald, it was a gas. I read an interview that rumored a repeat in 13...

...really can't figure out WHY the event at Stafford Lake Park in Novato (Northern California) hasn't been re-visited. It was ONLY 114 (F) when the Old Fartette and I were there in the T Touring years ago....! That was the only time (while driving an open car) I was looking to roll up windows (which are non existant in a Touring, BTW!!) to try n keep the heat out.

Thanks for the pictures, yep the drivin would a great part of it all. I like the photos of some of the group on the road, it sets the scene for me.
