My vehicle is a 53 Chev Panel Truck. The Classic Instrument oil pressure sensor location is above oil filter on driver side. When installed it is very close to the exhaust manifold. I have ceramic coated the manifolds and place a heat shield loosely on the sensor. The wire will also have to be shielded. The second option is at rear of engine where the stock sensor is. I am getting the adapter for this spot as well. It is very tight back there as the rest of the wire bundle is in that area going into the cab. Any thoughts?
