3-on-the-tree for a 3-speed toploader swap

Has anybody got any advise on swapping out a 3-on-the-tree for a 3-speed toploader behind a 59ab?

would all depend on what is coming out and what going in. A lot of the later gears will fit the early gear box.

Looking for a tranny right now. For a Forty Tudor, rebuilt 1947 59ab, mild cam, cheater heads. Got a triple offy intake and carb set (not installed yet). Stock banjo rear end, no idea what gear ratio.
3 speed or 4 speed doesn't matter, just going to be cruiser. The 3 on the tree that's in it has some teeth missing off the first gear, plus there is no synchro. I prefer a floor shift which is why I am doing the research.
Any suggestions is appreciated.

The one you will like best is a trany from an S-10 4 speed plus over drive.
