1951 Mercury Flathead

I have a 1951 Mercury Flathead in my 46 ford Sedan.
Trying to get more detail on the engine beyond the specs on the tag.
The rebuild tag on the engine is National Auto Supply Co.
No date, just the job #1029

Any help is appreciated.

not a lot can be said from the info given. If it is actually a Merc engine it would have a 4 inch stroke crank and 255 cu. in. What are the markings on the block and the heads? A few pics would certainly help.

I don't think they are the same company. Most of the tags I have found, the company is no longer in business.
