Well .. I know most of the older members who have been here for some years have seen my car .. but I thought I'd post it for the members that haven't.
The car is still in the project stage with some changes been made ... yeah I know should have been done before it went for paint.
The paint is not quite right so the painter has agreed to re-paint it when I'm ready.

The Bulletnose '50 Studebaker started life as a Canadian Regal-Deluxe 2dr. Sedan from Windsor Ont. bought in Deep Cove BC for $1500.

The car was stripped of everything and body sent for an acid bath at Reddi-Strip in Richmond BC.
When the body was returned to me it was clean, shiney and full of holes.
All sheet metal repairs were done, firewall recessed, new floors, transmission and driveshaft humps fabricated.
Roof was chopped 3" and two 400lb. remote Actuators open and close the tilt front clip.
Ducktail was made using another trunk lid to house the license plate light.
License plate counter-sunk into the lid. A Chrysler draw-down actuator opens and closes the lid.

so is the car still on hold while life gets in the way?

Yeah kind of seems that way ..... I've got to get my ass in gear and do something on it this summer for sure.
So many things to do around the house and in the home that I need to get started on also.
This old farm house has very little cabinetry in the kitchen and we saved the cabinets from a friends house when they re-did their kitchen, so kitchen renos are on the to do list.
Also going to try and get the end foundation in the ground so I can start extending my little barn.
First thing to do is extend the roof out ( as the roof needs replacing badly ) to the end foundation with a lean-to type affair, put a cement pad down, later filling in the walls, windows, doors as money permits.

From this .....

To this .....

.....Xcellent work bullet, very professional . The color choice really suits the body style. Very nice to see a make and model all done up that most people have no idea what the heck it is !!
