16th Annual Flashback Weekend Presented by the Fabulous 50's Ford Club of Manitoba

This is just a "heads up" to a great weekend of fun... September 10th, 11th, and 12th in Winnipeg. The sock hop on the Friday night is always a hoot! Plenty of prizes, great music, and even a couple of 50's Fords parked by the stage where the band is playing. The cruise to Lockport is not too long, just long enough to take in the great sites along the Red River. The show and shine on Sunday is second to none. Always in excess of a thousand rides, and the price is right. Free! This show is open to all makes and models.

I won't be able to make it this year, Lorne. The Essex is already tucked away in storage for the winter.

I'm parking cars early early Sunday morning and Irene willl be selling T-shirts! We're also going to the sock hop Friday night! Selling liquor tickets 9-10pm. The silent auction is awesome. Irene donated some stuff from her store. Your garage-christening party still Saturday night? We were thinking of coming out!! Neepawa is a beautiful little town.

For anyone who hasn't been to this show, it's fantastic! Almost 1200 vehicles at the show & shine. Last year they were turning cars away because the mall parking lot was full!

Lorne...that would be cool if you guys could make it. The party starts around 5 on Saturday and ends when the last person heads home. We're supplying everything...all you need to bring is a lawn chair to sit on.
