With our frame in paint, in was time to move back to the body. The plan was to attack the underside of the body, get it painted and then to move on to the top side.

The easiest way to achieve this was to stand the body up on the cowl end and complete the work on the floor up to the toe board area. After that, the completed area would be masked before proceeding to the top.

The floor receives final preparation before primer and paint. It
was already smooth. Now it's smoother.

This area needed to be recessed to accept the top of the
fuel pump. The small pipe at the right of the recess is for venting.

A bit more work around the tranny tunnel.
