Saturday Evening July 24
If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket or two for the Saturday night event, you'll know it was a memorable evening at a memorable location. The agenda called for a sit-down dinner at the Bear Mountain Golf and Country Club. Arriving at the club, we were once again greeted by a nice selection of cars out front. The reception and dinner were held on an outside terrace with magnificent scenery.

After a cocktail hour of chit chat and meet and greet, we sat down to a fantastic spread. Immediately following dinner, we were entertained by the Nerd who "roasted" Ron Ford (of Ocean Park Ford). It was very funny. After finishing with Ron, the Nerd set his sights on another unsuspecting victim - one Mr. Roy Brizio (yes, that Roy Brizio). I can't blame Roy for being tongue-tied. I would have been too. The Nerd was relentless.

Following the roasts, our host and Deuce Day organizer extraordinaire, Al Clark, said a few words and received a well deserved round of applause aimed directly at him. Al and his associates were batting a thousand. Al then introduced another Al, Al Engel, who made a presentation to Pam Brocco for her hard work in organizing the run up from Northern California.

With the formal part of the evening over, we retired outside for more magnificent views of cars and nature - a great evening.
