Lynn Johanson of Macomb, Illinois shares a first look at his own project '32. His 3-window is being based on an Outlaw body and pinched Outlaw frame. To that he's added a Heidt's Open Wheel SS Superide front suspension and a Currie 9 inch rear with 3.89:1 Tru-Trak limited slip.

Motor and tranny consist of a 700 R4 transmission and a 383 stroker with steel crank, forged pistons, 6 inch rods, AFR 190 heads, Magnum 280 cam, Comp roller rockers, Edelbrock polished RPM manifold with Edelbrock 750 carburetor, MSD distributor and Sanderson coated headers.

Other features inclued an AFCO radiator, Vintage Air, Tri-C hood with Rootlieb sheet metal, polished 15 inch Torque Thrust II wheels and BFG's.

He's shooting for a June 2004 finish date. He tells us to "imagine it in yellow. I want to be the top banana!"
