Jeff Graw
'49 Oldsmobile
Abbotsford BC

In the accompanying pictures you’ll see a kool ride coming to life. It started on Valentine’s Day 2001. Jeff has provided us with a series of great pics showing the transformation from when he got the car home, through the body-off restoration, frame detailing and then on to primer and some paint.

The picture of the frame was taken after approximately 1 year. Jeff had the frame soda blasted and painted, installed air bags front and rear, rebuilt the front end and installed all new brakes, lines and fuel lines. He’ll be running the wheels and tires pictured - G78/15 Denman wide whites and Caddy sombrero hubcaps.

On page two of this series you’ll see the car as it looked in February (2004). He has installed a “temporary” small block Chev until he can snag his 324 Olds Rocket.

He has done all the work in his 2-car garage with some help from his brother and a couple friends. We look forward to more from Jeff about his Torpedo-back.
