'46 Lincoln Coupe

Daring to be different, David "bgbdlinc" Brown has undertaken a project that, "at some point" David says, will yield a very different but definitely kool vehicle. You won't see many of these around. Try an internet search yourself.

Is this a big bad lincoln? Absolutely. A Canadian Rodder garage crawl to David's hiding place yielded the following photos.

David is in the throws of dropping this baby on to a '56 Lincoln chassis and will sport the '56 Lincoln 368 c.i. engine and tranny.

David's got the hots for low customs so you know where this beauty is going. Check out the progress to date:

Davis says he's got to play with this
setup a bit but it looks kool enough.

Check out the steering box in this puppy.

As you can see, David's been at it.

David's fitting a skirt to give us the general idea. Sweet.

A neat piece that David scooped...
More on this in the next update.

Gettin' down low in the rear.

David did some serious bracing to keep the body integrity
with the floors gone and while shifting the body over the '56 frame.

A little cut and paste ON PAPER yielded this
simulated chop. Go for it David.

The hood. It's a huge mother.

Another neat piece for a rear end treatment.
He's thinking about it.
Some pics of the kool stuff lurking in David's garage:

You can see where his head's at.

We'll see more of this project as it progresses.
Thanks for the peak "bgbdlinc".
