Canadian Hot Rod Tour Sponsor Profile
A&W / Cruisin' the Dub

I'll guarantee that a frosty mug of root beer and a carhop puts you in mind of A&W. It does for me and millions of other Canadians who frequented the local A&W either with family, friends and, of course, in their treasured ride.

Since 1956, when the first A&W restaurant was opened on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, A&W has been part of the Canadian cultural landscape with cool cars, that root beer, a family of burgers, “rings” and the A&W Great Root Bear.

As for Cruisin' the Dub, you know what Cruisin' is and Dub is short for W. By the way, the initials “A&W” stands for the founders of A&W: Allen & Wright.

Now in their 52nd. year, A&W restaurants keeps the Cruisin' spirit alive at their 690 Canadian locations. In fact, with the support of a great team of franchisees, they expect to host over 4000 organized cruise night across the country! Unreal. Also, you may see carhop service on special nights (see their schedule for locations). Very cool.

With their support, we're able to bring you the Canadian Hot Rod Tour. Expect to see them Cruisin' with us in June.
