The 2012 Canadian Hot Rod Tour - "Cruisin the Capital" Event 
Ontario - June 22, 23, 24 & 25, 2012

Thanks you for your interest in this Canadian Hot Rod Tour event.

I'm happy to report that:

- Registration is now open

- The host hotel for Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights in Ottawa is ready to accept reservations (3-nights or any part thereof).

- Also, if you will be joining the main tour group as we launch from Whitby, Ontario on Friday morning June 22 AND need accommodation for the evening before, a group block has been set up for that also and is available now.

Itinerary Overview (details under development):

- Gather in Whitby, Ontario on Friday morning, June 22, 2012 for official launch.

- Cruise to Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, June 22 (Participant pick-ups en route)

- Circle Tours of the Capital Region / Eastern Ontario on Saturday, June 23

- Circle Tours of the Capital Region / Eastern Ontario on Sunday, June 24 (Event Banquet that evening)

- Return trips on Monday, June 25

Details for all of these days are under development. Relative to hotels, we have secured group blocks in the locations noted above (that will be expanded to the extent possible as determined by registration).

Registration and Banquet Sign-Up Now Combined

To streamline the collection of funds for those interested in attending the Sunday evening Event Banquet, an area has been added to the registration form to indicate the number attending and payment amount as part of the total. Note: If you've not been on a Canadian Hot Rod Tour event before, the event banquet was added in 2009 as a way to bring everyone together in a "formal" (not that kind of formal)setting where we could enjoy dinner together, thank our sponsors and hand out prizes. It was a successful addition then and has become a regular part of the event.

The menu will be: Assorted Housemade Rolls and Bread, Garden Inn Salad with Various Dressings, Roasted Chicken with Basil Pesto Cream Sauce, Five Cheese Tortellini with Tomato Basil Sauce and Parmesan Cheese, Seasonal Vegetables, Pastries, Coffee/Tea. A cash bar will be available.

Important Note About Registration & Hotels

As always, I urge you to register for the Tour and reserve your accommodation as soon as possible so that we can expand the hotel group blocks as much as possible.
