1946 2 door sedan steering problems

Have recently purchased a 46 Ford 2 door sedan.
Stock suspension, dropped 2 inches by removing 2 leaves front and back.
Pitman arm is rubing the tie rod. Worse, the pitman hits the tie rod hard over road bumps.
Is there a dropped pitman arm available/ Need 2 inch drop.
Are there dropped steering arms available or do I have to buy a complete cast spindle/dropped arm casting?
Does the drag link have to travel in the same plane as the tie rod?
lots of questions, could sure use some advice.

Thanks,

Suggest this might be better posted under "discussion and chat" because I don't think a lot of guys look down the forum to this section too much.

It has been 55 years since I lowered my 47 Ford Tudor, but I did it with longer spring shackles and left the springs stock. I had no steering issues.

I know they make a dropped steering arm, but you may want to rethink the spring leaf deal....maybe someone else here has more recent experience....lol:)
