What paint for drums & backing plates

Can anyone recommend a particular paint & primer for the Brake drums & backing plates (on 29 coupe with 40 juice brakes).
Something that might have better resistance to brake fluid.
I plan on sand blasting them first with protection for the non painted areas.
Should the inside of the drum be painted, obviousley not on the shoe contact area.

I've used Tremclad with good results.Did the rear drums on my truck 5 years ago and they still look good!

There are paint kits designed to paint BRAKE DRUM/ROTOR/CALIPERS.

Search google for brake drum paint. These paints are resistant to fading from brake fluid.

I have used tremclad or similar and also used the clear over top of the paint. Used this on the drums and calipers on my GMC Sonoma. It adhered excellent. Still on there today and its been at least 8 years.

I used PPG base clear on my summer driver and it hasn't burnt off yet. I have had it on the road for 5 years and I have put on about 5000km's so far.

:)Since your going to sandblast the parts ,,your 3/4 the way to powdercoating them.Powdercoat material comes in a zillion colors now and cheap to do .

oh Crap, I just spent $45 on paint, could take it back though I guess.
Bought Trem clad for the backing plates & high temp for the drums.

Was that $30 for all backing plates or each? Would powder coat be OK on the drums?
What prep do you have to do or do the powder coaters do it all.
