Talking Looking for Info on from the Albertan's on here.

Been looking at some '58 parts from a place in Gibbons.

Perry's Project Cars. Just wondering what the guy is like to deal with? I sent him an email through his site and took him 2 weeks to reply. Prices on the parts seem reasonable. Just have to call him up and see if and/or how he would ship to TO.

If'n ya don't want to post up your opinion, please PM me.

ThanX

I called him about a car a couple months back, same thing happed to me. It took about 4-5 days though for a reply. His prices are somewhat ok but when I showed to look at the car it was pretty much worth about half the money he was asking, his ad was not well detailed.
But I find this same situation with alot of sellers, I drove 5 hrs to look at a car and bought it just because I made the trip and didn't want it to be a waste.
If your purchasing parts from this Perry's projects just ask for some pictures before purchasing, if the guy wants to make a sale he'll get the pictures. It's not much to ask for.

Just my $0.02, hope it helps.

Ivan Perry is a great guy to deal with, I've bought lots of parts off of him. His prices are a bit high on some stuff, but selling cars is how he puts bread on his table, so you gotta give him something for that. Chances are if you need early 50's to late 60's GM parts, he has them somewhere at his place.
Best way to get a hold of him is to call him and arrange to meet him at his place.

I have also purchased a few parts from him. He has a lot of stuff and most of it is overpriced and is slow to reply.

Ivan Has always been fair with me, best thing with Ivan is if you know what you need and he has it, arrange to meet with him and Bring Cash, if you have the cash and your not just another tire kicker looking for deals, he is very fair.

just my .02$
