As far as trans go , the Volvo M40(Amazon) is a pretty easy swap , strong , looks good , good gearing and you just need a AA bellhousing.

My Dad is putting one of those behilnd his Flathead V8 in his 1934 ford sedan delivery. The do look really neat.

yeah , i put one on the back of a 21 stud a couple of weekends back , again using a truck bellhousing. Have nt sorted the pilot bearing yet , but dont think thats much of a bother

Yea thats Steves car, and he is still around, I dont know about his problem though, I stay out of his personal life, too much Jerry Springer going on there...
