I apologize if this is inappropriate for this group, but a couple of these boats are Dodge Watercars, so thought you might like them.

This is the oldest boat there, a 1924 Dodge Watercar 22ft. made by Horace Dodge Jr. (son of one of the Dodge brothers). It originally had a Dodge 4 cyl. but now has a 392 Chrysler marine hemi. Layout is unusual with the engine ahead of the single large cockpit. So a very long prop shaft.

Another newer Dodge. Engine is a Chrysler marine straight 8.

Most of the other boats there were Chris Craft.

Pure works of art. I could stare at those all day. There is a wooden boat show in Lakeside MT every year also. It used to be at the Eagle Bend harbour in Bigfork, but they moved it across the lake to Lakeside several years ago. We always attend when we are in the area. Thanks for posting.

thank you for posting John..

the time when boat building was a true art and skill set.

Ah, those beautiful wooden pieces of art really are the original "hole to pour money into". They used to have a big beautiful 427 Cris that took you from the Coeur d'Alene Resort over to the golf course. I would take one of those.:)
