This is a long shot, but;

Without doing my homework I got a set of leather seats from a Lincoln Mark 8 to put in my '56 Plymouth / Dodge two door wagon. It turns out that the memory seat position (that I don't require) has a microprocessor module with many wires, got it working ONCE, then dead. Tested the motors yesterday and they work, so I would like to replace the module, but to direct wire the switches to the motors it might draw too much current for the switch contacts. I have read many pages on using a relay(s) and I'm just more confused. The motors are reversible with two wires that are controlled by the seat switches to reverse the polarity, but how do I do that with relays using the seat switches?

Thanks, picture is just to prove fools do go were angles fear to tread! :eek:

You'll need 2 DPDT relays for each motor. It looks like they are available on Ebay for around $5. Get ones rated for enough amperage. This diagram should work. It doesn't show fuses, but your circuit should be fused.
