Looking forward to the show this weekend, after a couple of years without! Latest forecast looks like some good September weather, but of course you never know for certain in the mountains ... :p

That poster is actually from 2021 - there are events on both Friday and Saturday, but the date for the Saturday car show itself is the 17th this year. We'll be doing the poker run on Friday (16th) for the first time, which should be a great drive through the Columbia Valley. Hope there is a great turnout! (y)

OOPS, thanks for the correction on the dates

Heading out shortly. Looking forward to a great weekend in the valley . Ray, I'm coming to find you ....lol

How was it ? I have been before twice to Radium and it was always a good time.

Show was awesome! The town was filling up fast on Thursday when we got there, On Friday the streets were packed with cars cruising all over the place with burnouts everywhere. The cops were basically non existent, but I'm sure they were amongst us in plain clothes keeping a close eye for any out of control idiots. Saturday after the show was a different story, as they were very present on the highway ,as we cruised to Inveremere . There were people all along the highway from radium to Inveremere waving and cheering as the hundreds of cars cruised up and down the stretch.

Highway 93 just east of Radium, following the weekend .... hee hee. Great fun was had by all, and support from the local residents and businesses was great! Too bad they were hampered (as are many right now) by a severe labour shortage resulting in some closures and limited hours of operation.

Kudos to the local RCMP for keeping a low profile during the weekend, and allowing shenanigans within limits. Hope that the future attendees continue to respect and appreciate that restraint. (y):D(y)
