Hi All.

Here's the scoop as of end of business day, July 13, 2020.

I "pulled the trigger" today and purchased the new forum software.

After that, I downloaded the content packages.

I set up a duplicate of this forum to use as test bed as I wouldn't dare try an import/conversion of the production database without, AT LEAST, one test run.

That has pretty much taken me to now.

I MAY attempt a test "pruning" next. That is, for example, deleting registrations in limbo (those that registered but never responded to the confirmation email) in, let's say, a four or five year period back from now. There are MANY hundreds like that. Unregistered, zero post count, never logged in.
 
Righto Frank, Thanks for the update. How did the supporter funding go, did we get enough supporters to fund what is required?
 
Gary, yes, we're in good shape thanks to everyone who has stepped up to contribute. I'll be able to purchase extended support and I working on a thank you.
 
Save time on the thank you, Frank. I would would think most agree to thank YOU for all the hard work.
Looking forward to the next step :)
