First off I would like to congratulate Frank & Judy for this site and the successful Points West tour 2010. I would also like to say it is the people on this site that make it what it is and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your involvement. The folks we met on this tour were all great...More on that to follow. The tour started for us on July 8th when Keith (PG409) & Jeani, Don(Tiny Tin) & Sue and Gert & I (DougE - Kruuzin) left for Miette Hot Spriings east of Jasper.

It was a great drive to the hot spings we took our time and went for a few walks..Reargaurd Falls near Mount Robson.

The next day we went to Chocrane Alberta through the Ice fields...was a great cruise...I had to change my PCV valve..fixed the oil spray problem...damn Alberta is Flat Looking east chuckle...

Next it was off to Lethbridge to meet up with the rest of the crew...we arrived a little early and I was walking thought the lobby of the hotel when I hear a voice say you look awful familiar...Here sits a nice looking lady and I asked her what her name was that I didn't recognize her...It was MisBehavin Franks bride...she got her first of many PTP hugs then and there..It was great meeting you Judy. I then hunted down Frank and gave him a PTP Hug too. Its funny the way you think people will look when you first met them. I thought both Frank and Judy would be much taller...LOL...Turns out nice comes in all sizes..

I have to say that evening was a little bit of a worlwind for me...John (Parklane) you are a hell of alot o"fun..LOL....fer a dutchman...chuckle...

Bill...Wow...we didn't talk much nor did Jamie (N2Roddin) and I but damn you guys are the Tits man...O shit and Clark.Olrodder.. North Carolina..blows me away you guys drivin open cars from the east coast...Better men and Women than I am...chuckle...I always wanted a Harley untill I see someone ridding in the bad weather...you guys certainly showed what you where made of from Drumhellar to Calgary, Now thats Hotrodding,,,,Nuff said....

That night we had a meet and greet it was great....I was quite suprized by how many where on the tour that didn't belong to the Forum hopefully they will all join

..Gerry and his wife from Vancouver Island with this panel were a great couple and weathered some sh!!ty situations Lost their alternator on the Waterton run...then had their heater core go the next day... Tornado and Hail affected them too but they came through smilin... great people

The rest of the Group went to Waterton - south for a little tour...all said it was a great time...The PTP People decided to take in the Lethbridge show and shine a few of the cars we sighted...I also lost my Keys there...ended nicely though I was able to retrieve them .. was a little tense..chuckle...

Sunday evening after the show & shine and the waterton Run all were invited to Iians place..I have to apologize here as I can't remember the names of his family but they did leave a lasting impression as the BBQ was great they have Two of the nicest Kids..(Young Men ) you would ever want to meet. Thanks for having us Iian..few of the cars from The BBQ

This Meteor was a nice ride they brought their Boler and were having alot of fun...maybe next time we can join them in our Boler.

Because of the Miserable weather and I do mean misrable,,,,Tornado warnings.. hail the size of Golf balls...rain you know the kind ya think you should be building and arc instead of a hotrod rain...yeah it was bad....hats off again to the open car guys,,,,...I didn't take to many pic's...the trip to Kamloops was great...the tour was escorted to the car show in Kamloops
by the RCMP...it was cool having those guys in front of you with their lights on...if ya know what I mean...chuckle,.,,meet lots of the BC guys at the hotel and the S&S,,,,Carl Happy for you getting that car Hope all is well with your Bride,,,Hunter good seeing you and Steph,,,Tinmann what can I say.thanks for the beer..LOL...Mbog nice to see ya thanks for the beer...Dana (Krusty64) your a class act....I know I have missed people and I hope they are not offended...couple of pics...

Thats about it for me....we didn't go to the Island....we should have..oh well...I would like to say thanks to A&W...The Calgary Rod shop for the help to Don and for being there for all the ride and rodders..great people...The Old car Center for supporting this Forum and the support to the 2010 points west tour and especially Johnny37 (and his Bride) of the Old Car center for getting the cakes for my B-Day..choking up just thinking about it you made my day all of you thanks so much to all the people involved in this tour...please stay in touch and give me shit if I didn't mention you...every one...thanks,,,

Hey Douge thanks for the fantastic report man, some great folks there alright eh.

So where was Lee (Uglee) I was sure I read sometime ago he was going onthe run as well.
 
Lee had life wack him just like we all do...he got called to work...but Lee been Lee he took his Hotrod with him...saw him haulliing it up my hill..(Salmon Valley..LOL) Pulled him over and had a beer...he is missed by me too ..good Guy:D
 
Great report DougE. Beers anytime... I think I'll do a similar report as soon as I upload the 600 or so pics, when I get a minute or 10...

Doug, it was great to meet you and your lovely wife! Sarah and I hope to see you guys around...Maybe since I celebrated your 60th with you, You can celebate my 24th with me! Thanks for the pictures. I've been trying to post a video on youtube since the tour ended, but my conputer crashed every time I try. damn!

October 8th. Always the same week as Thanksgiving. I always get turkey dinner for my birthday!:D woot.
