Hi just registered a couple days ago.
Been a "car guy" for over 60 years.
Previously owned:
64 Chev Malibu SS 327 4 speed
70 Camaro
28 Dodge 350/350
35 Chev 2 door 283/350
BMW Z3
Cadillac XLR recently departed

I am looking for a Model A coupe (Ive wanted one since I was twelve - 60 years) and I think its about time indulge myself.

The reason I registered here was to ask this question Has anybody experience with importing a "hot rod" from the USA, recent experience that is.

If you haven't sat in a Model A recently, you should, they have shrunk in size the last couple of years. ;)

In regards to the importation of cars from the USA, there have been may posts about that, try the search feature. If it was me, and it never will be, I would use a broker, unless you really enjoy pain.

The real experts will be along soon.
 
welcome to the site.. bought my 58 outta California, used a broker. painless. They recommended a shipping company & all went very smooth. I'd do it again

Welcome to the big CR forum.

Lots of threads/posts on importing.

The rules have changed slightly getting it through the US side of the border,
best to use a broker but it can be done.
