Hi. I don’t have a lock up TC. The transmission shop that built the transmission removed the electrical connector in the case for the lock up TC (drilled it out and plugged the hole and that’s a whole other story) and built it without the lock up.

It's not actually a kick down like other GM transmissions, throttle valve (TV) cable adjustment is critical if you want your 700R to last. I run my torque convertor lockup through the brake switch. The angle and position of the TV cable needs to be correct to work properly.
