I donate on a regular basis, some at the Garage floor and some at the Red Cross But seriously it only takes about 45 minutes and believe it or not it is supposed to be good for you and it truly is the gift of life
I started giving blood as a member of the key club in high school. A number of us would go down every time they had a blood donor clinic and give a pint. It sort of gives you a bit of a high, as they say every part of your body goes to work to replace it.
I quit giving when I was 25 when I was diagnosed with a medical condition that they no longer wanted my blood for the medication I have been on ever since.
I went to that show / blood drive. Some nice rides there. I really liked the purple rat rod Comet that was there. Later on in the day it snowed a tiny bit but was worth the drive.
