After being neglecting the truck in my avatar for 15 years it's time to get it back on the road. I had swapped in a 283 in high school and went through a couple more engines in 25 years. Got distracted with a couple projects and it sat. I have a 2003 dodge pickup that rusted out so i pulled the hemi out of it.

And.....we anxiously await your build info. Good looking truck !

Step one

Turned out that all i had to do was make a couple of plates to adapt to the existing chevy mounts.

Seems to sit in there ok

Built a trans mount. Going to add to it after I get it running and can work on the lift instead of crawling under.
Now just need to figure out the stock Dodge wiring.

First photo Looks like a 409 in there. Nice solid truck. Thanks

What front suspension are you using? Curious due to engine choice pan clearances etc.

Sorry not too much happening, farming got in the way. Got through all the field work and now it is cruising season.🤷‍♂️ I bought online what i thought was a guide on how to use the stock wiring harness, but it turned out to be how to wire for the connector they sell! It does help a bit though so my $30us wasn't completely wasted.
Keith, I am keeping the stock I beam. The engine is out of a truck so it has a rear sump.

Back at it. 20211130_160457.jpg20211202_222853.jpgThe connector I need from the donor truck and some of my high school wiring. Have been studying the service manual and the online instruction. It may not be too hard to get it running. Have to get the key security removed from the pcm. Have a friend who has does lot of late model engine swaps. He figures he has the programmer to do the job.

I commend you on pursuing the electronic injection. I am still struggling with carbs.

Time to catch up. Built this fuse/relay panel. Spaced everything out nicely, then went to put it in the spot i picked out and it was too big! I never even measured.😴 So I started building the header flanges instead
