1940 Chev Special Deluxe

Hi Guys, it's been a while since I've been on here. So I thought I might as well show you what I've been up to. I picked this up a couple years ago as a parts car for my '40 coupe, but then the wife claimed it and it is now my priority project...

First things first was to ditch the oil bath filter.

I then lowered it 2.5" in the back and 2" in the front. Rebuilt the brakes, painted the wheels and added some new rubber.

I've gone through the engine (original 216), new lifters, push rods, carb and rebuilt the fuel pump. I also converted it to 8 volt, starts and runs really nice now.
