Lately I've been plunking away on a Model A chassis. This is for a really bad '28 RPU that I'm going to take to school to let the kids learn some metal fab skills and hammer welding, panel forming.

I've fully boxed original rails with 3/16th steel. Made my own rear crossmember (copied from b-bob's) and flattened the original front crossmember by 1/2".

That is real cool there Tinmann, I like those Chevys a lot. That is a good thing you are doing for the kids at school. Good for you, it must give you some satisfaction when they start working out the how's and why's of everything.

nice looking projects.
lucky kids, my dad wouldn't even let me change his wiper blades. its only after 1 year of college for automotive he lets me change the light bulbs :cool:

Tinn, this must mean that Grizz's pickup is done. I was wondering what you were up to. Haven't heard much from Tinnman mountain lately. But of course i was hoping to see progress on something else.:)
