Chris always builds a nice car and has built a nice A here, he has recently bought a 34 coupe from over your neck of the woods for his next project.

Some of you may have seen the Mad Max movie, this is an XC Coupe (1976 to 78) Falcon, the Mad Max car was build from one of these.

A neat old Cad, I'm not really up with the years on these but I'm guessing around a 53 model

Nice 62 Dodge with a 440 in the engine bay, one of these in a 2 door or 4 door pillarless if they made them would be a nice thing to own, once again he must have been having engine problems but at least the engine bay was neatly detailed.

!967 Chrysler Valiant station Wagon, just an original car and had wide wheels on the rear which made you wonder if there wasn't something lurking under the hood. Hmmm maybe a sleeper with some grunt under there waiting for an unsuspecting boy racer

How about a nice neat 37 Chevy Ute and it had a blower there to give it a bit more get up and go,

The F club was well represented with a number of nice F trucks around the place

The Zephyr and Consol club had a alright display with their club cars, Nice little MK1 convertable, there were all 4 models there utes, station wagons, 4 door sedans and convertables, a real good club display with a good mix of cars

This Chevy Styleside has the look with the flames etc.

Just a nice stock old Zephyr, nothing fancy but a good old car all the same, I owned a few of these at different times, I also owned a genuine convertable MKII before I was married to the one who didn't like me, oh I mean like me mucking around with old cars.

Looked like this Barracuda must have been having engine problems and he couldn't get parts because the hood was up all day, the nice look of these cars is the overall profile and then the owners spoil it by leaving the hood open I know it all adds to points but isn't it time for people to realise that sometimes they should leave the hood down,,there was a Holden Torana with it's hood up and a bog stock original engine with the rusty manifolds and grease, why do they do this??

Another example of how not to display your car, if you look at some of the other photos you will see where the owners have left their boards on the ground so you can read what they have to say and appreciate the overall look of the car. I always think that the owners are trying to cover up something that is maybe damaged or an imperfection

There is more in the next section as well, I mucked up and posted 2 different sets.

Cheers, John
