I need to know a little about adjusting the shift points on a c-4 auto.
My Roadster shifts from 1st to 2cnd and to 3rd before 5MPH, very fast.
Is there a way to adj this

I'm not sure but doesn't the vacuum module on the tranny have something to do with this? maybe the hose is split or something ?..

if it has a vacuum module, I dont think the hose is cracked... correct me if I'm wrong, but it wouldnt shift gears at all I think. if there is a modual and its shifting gears like crazy... pull the hose off the tranny end and adjust the bladder screw inside where the hose goes.. I cant remember what direction to turn it... but theres only two ways ;) I had an fmx tranny in my v8 ford ranger at first... I had a lot of messing around with that module to get the shifts right.

Its all new metal hose with new rubber ends, so its not the hose.
I will play with the adj in the modulator.
Is the adj in the hose nipple, with an allen wrench or do you have to remove the moulator and work inside?
Thanks a lot for the info

5 mph is plenty fast enough for you in that perdy ol' car, sonny boy. Leave the daredevil fast stuff fer Davey Joe. He can tightrope walk blindfolded an' everything.
