Right hand drive!

Looks cool, but really sucks going through a drive-through if you're by yourself. :p

....I've often wondered how difficult it would be to convert to left hand drive (as God intended)....hahahahahaha

It'd be a piece o piss to convert that David, the gauges are in the centre so no worries there, and if you're putting a V8 in you'll have to build a chassis anyway so all you hae to worry about is making a steering colunm drop and munt you steering at the other end, we convert from left to right and usually have starter moters and everything to contend with so it would be no worries to you there.

Anglia or Pops came out here as roadster pickups but I feel the tray was slightly different.

My old man had a few Anglia's as I was growing up but I don't ever remember seeing a pick up like that around.
And right hand drive would work great at the best drive through in our City where because they are so busy they split the drive through and you can choose to go through on the left hand side meaning if you're alone you have to lean across.

Just in case anybody cares, Leamington is about 4hrs away from Toronto. Not really what I would call close or near.:p

....I never had the impression that this was a factory production car....I like to think that it's an interesting 'phantom' PU...."One of a kind" says it all....nice piece...

They were an authentic factory built car in Oz. I re-did one for a friend who imported one from Oz. This one looks a little different in the box, but maybe a different year or something. This is the one i am talking about.

They have shortened the red section of the dash to fit ...

My Tourer has the same curved header panel and I tried a standard (red) dash in one day and it, stopped just inside the doors ... a couple of inched too wide.

I agree that the pick up box is probably not original ( who cares ...we are hot rodders).

Not a bad looking ride overall

So there is no confusion, the red one that i posted had a custom built box. I remember my friend had photos of an original box and it had those wood planks running along the top like the one for sale. Those rear fenders were Anglia widened to meet the p.u. box.
My friend paid $900.00 for his basket case body and it took about a year to get here by boat.
