hey guys, just doing some last min checks in my coolant lines while changing to the cross flow rad.... and cherrymerc was telling me to check my heater lines and make sure that they go to the right spots. top heater hose goes to the top of the head, or to the water pump? maybe some one can help me out cause i wasn't listening as well as i shoulda been...

Theres no springs in the bottom heater hose.. I know this for fact... but not sure it will matter anymore... inserted 1.5 in pvc into ahlf of hose... I'll check the heater hoses... I tried finding pics of them online, and found one that is the opposite of what you say.... but I'll check mine to see how it is.

ok... so mine was backwards from what you say Lee, fixed now. water pump to BOTTOM of heater core... it'll be hard to tell if this is what fixes it, or the new four core cross flow rad ;)
